Sorbic acid and potassium Sorbate are widely used food additives with high efficiancy and they are approved and recommended by FAO and WHO, and they are national "Key Task" in the 8th 5-year-plan and one of the "Post Important Project" in the 9th and 10th 5-year-plan.in 1994 the products that Wanglong produced was awarded as "national level key new products". The technology for Sorbic Acid production was exported to Korea in 1996 with the permission of related authorities from Central government.
